Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation
    • Develop strategies to engage followers on social media platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn.
    • Create weekly schedule and posts in Canva / Buffer for social media platforms
    • Create Video Content for Posts and Web
    • Organize articles for Monthly Newsletter
    • Conduct Interviews and Recorded Zoom Segments for Online Content
  • Event Planning
    • Assist in organizing, attendance and coordination of promotional events including in-person and virtual. Attending these events as required.
  • Advertising & Marketing
    • Manage online storefronts with information on our products to keep them current including Insurance Journal, MyNewMarkets and Program Business
    • Assist in print & digital campaigns including advertisements, broadcast emails and promotions.
    • Create marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market
    • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market
    • Create surveys, jotforms and other data collection tools for feedback
  • Daily administrative tasks for client & business development including;
    • Reviewing client inquiries via email and triage to route to the appropriate team member
    • Monitor Marketing Inbox’s and social media account replies to posts.
    • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
    • Appointing & welcoming new clients
  • Marketing analytics including gathering & reporting on important data (social media, Google analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Communicate directly with clients and build relationships
    • Assign leads to sales associates
    • Respond to inquiries on Jimcor’s products and services
    • Respond to Jimcor online chat inquiries and troubleshoot online client issues.
    • Transcribe marketing visit notes from a “call in box” from Underwriters into the CRM.
  • Back up other members of the team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Prior marketing experience of 2-5 years desired
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar field, preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Internet and Social Media Savvy
  • Knowledge of design programs including Canva, Photoshop, Video Editing and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Exquisite communication and people skills
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Eager to learn and contribute to a growing team and company
